I have pictures of my apartment fixed up the way we like it! Im excited, we got everything moved and organized just in time before Chris's parents get here. ITs nice. Its no longer 'Dustin's Apartment' that we are living in, but OUR apartment. Our first home together. How sweet! Anyways:

This is Chris and I's first home together as a family. We are proud. *beams*


This is our bedroom. We started in the other room with a twin bed and only one dresser so my clothes lived in a pile in a futon closet. Now we are in the warm room and have two dressers and two futon. The thing at the head of the blue futon is a humidifier. Poor Chris, my heater dries out his nose so we have to keep the humidifier at his head and the heater at my feet to even things out.


This is the 'study'. We moved the desk and bookshelf from the other tatami room where we sleep now. It looks a lot better and open this way. I really like it. Its a little too cold to use the room right now though. Have to wait until we get a heater.


This is the kotatsu table. We used to have a couch instead of the legless chair things, but the couch was stupid andh uncomfortable. The table has a heater on the underside of it, and you stick your legs under the futon and it heats you. Its very warm and comfortable though we are still getting used to the chair things.


This is Chris using our Kotatsu. The heater is on and his legs are toasty warm. I find the only problem is that its hard to reach the computer because I have short stumpy arms.


As weird as this I am happy about our cute toilet. It has clothes! It helps keep it warm and looks a littler nicer.

It also has a weird seat cover that is really warm. It looks and feels like a sock. Strange.


Im really excited about having a towel rack. For the longest time we were just having to hang our towels around the apartment and hope they dried. Was very gross. But we have a towel rack now! Yay!

And finally!! Look at what we found last night!

A peperoni pizza with no corn or mayo or anything else gross!! It was very tasty and really made me happy. Heh. Hooray for pizza!!

And now for the weather update. It has been snowing since Monday! Before that it was sleeting, hailing, raining, and snowing all at once. Now its just been snowing straight since Monday. But, its not yet below 32F here (we call it 0C instead, btw) so its not really sticking to anything. Anyways. So I have weather pictures of a tree so you can see the changes.

Snowy today! Its actually snowing in this picture and the wind was blowing so hard it was hard to stand in one place. Hence the terrible picture. I put myself at great risk to get this picture. Wet socks and frozen finger and nose tips were the results, so you better enjoy!
